• Born May 31st 1956
    • Graduated in 1979 with a Bachelor of Music Education from Shenandoah Conservatory of Music
    • Moved to Richmond VA soon thereafter and started teaching private students
    • Started playing lots of solo gigs, drawing heavily from singer/songwriter repertoire and working as much as five nights a week.
    • Also played in a bunch of short-lived “garage bands”. (Not a very pleasent experience.)
    • In 1998, founded Full Moon Productions, a recording studio that grew into ReaLife Multimedia LLC
    • Go Figure, my 1st album, was released at the end of 1999
    • Served as president of  VOCAL (Virginia Organization of Composers and Lyricists)  for four years
    • In 2013, ran the Richmond Marathon.
    • That same year, I composed the soundtrack to Breathing Life into the Chesapeake: Of Oysters, Boats and Men and expanded it into a seven movement work for guitar and string quartet.
    • Presently, I’m enjoying the Pacific Northwest, having moved to Eugene, OR in May of 2025.
