I appreciate your taking the time to stop by. I plan to make it worth your while. My effort to re-design and update this website has taken a while.
During the process it has grown considerably, but a lot’s going on right now.
A good place to start would be stuff that’s highlighted below.
The NavBar at the top will take you everywhere else.
Regan & Westlyn
Anne and I have booked a bunch of gigs, both here in Richmond and at some of our favorite venues in the Charlottesville area.
Here’s what’s coming up soon.
2/24: 2:00-4:00 Byrd Cellars Goochland, VA
3/2: 1:00-4:00 Southwest Mountains Vineyard Keswick, VA
We’re looking to launch this project in 2024.
ARTWORK will be an evolving group of musicians who choose to get together to play and record original pieces and arrangements.
Anyone will have an opportunity to make whatever contribution they care to. Students especially will have an open invitation, in a comfortable, no-pressure atmosphere, to gain experience and network with other players.
Contact me through this website, if you have an interest to be involved.
What's New?
In the past four or five years, I’ve re-discovered my nylon string/classical guitar. The one I play – a Yamaha CN-525E – is not a traditional instrument; it’s thinner in the body, has got a cutaway and a nice built-in pick up, making it so I can amplify it without losing that nylon string tone. And I’ve written a bunch of arrangements, tunes from pop and jazz standards, for that style of playing.

Higher Ground: For Piano and String Quartet
Inspired by the Blue Ridge Mountains
As an adult, I’ve found myself drawn to the mountains and I’m fortunate to be pretty close to the western part of Virginia. This piece evokes some of the sights and sounds that left an impression on me during my time there.
A Home Concert is an intimate and unique experience where you host a soloist, a duo, or a small group in your home. They play for you and your invited guests for as long as you want.
Plus, your favorite charity is supported by the event.
You decide the ticket price your guests pay with all proceeds split three ways between you (as the host), the players, and the charity. It’s a Win/Win/Win!
