Graduated in 1978 with a Bachelor of Music Education from Shenandoah Conservatory of Music
Moved to Richmond VA soon thereafter and started teaching private students
Started playing lots of solo gigs, drawing heavily from singer/songwriter repertoire and working as much as five nights a week.
Also played in a bunch of short-lived “garage bands”. (Not a very pleasent experience.)
In 1998, founded Full Moon Productions, a recording studio that grew into ReaLife Multimedia LLC
Go Figure, my 1st album, was released at the end of 1999
Served as president of VOCAL (Virginia Organization of Composers and Lyricists) for four years
In 2013, ran the Richmond Marathon.
That same year, I composed the soundtrack to Breathing Life into the Chesapeake: Of Oysters, Boats and Men and expanded it into a seven movement work for guitar and string quartet.
Presently, I’m one half of Regan & Westlyn, a jazz/rock/eclectic duo who plays in the Richmond/Charlottesville area.
I don’t know that you need to know more than that.
